Left-click on canvas not registering (desktop & web)

Is this restricted to a single file? Your marked specifically Figma Design, but does this happen also for other file types? Can you make a selection using the layers panel? I’ve had something like this happen before too, but it always fixed itself when I swap to a different page or file and back. Has this happened before? Is this occurring right out of the gate, like you just installed the desktop app or opened the editor website for the first time, or had you been able use Figma Design normally on the same machine previously.
