Question

issues accessing version history

Hello Figma Support Team,

My Figma Make work from yesterday is missing after using credits. The current code repository only contains the original “Created from Code Layer” snapshot, with no stashes or recoverable commits.

Could you please check for an earlier Make workspace/session snapshot or server-side version history and restore it?

  • File Name: My mechanic demo app

  • File URL: [redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]

Thank you for your help!

Hey @WAruu. ,  thanks for explaining what you’ve already checked. I understand your concern about the missing work in your file “My mechanic demo app.”

Could you also check Version history at the top of the Make chat panel? If yesterday’s version is listed, you can preview it and select Restore this version. Restoring keeps the other versions available, as explained in our Edit a Figma Make file guide.

If the earlier work isn’t listed or restoring doesn’t help, please contact our support team so they can investigate it. To do that, to to the Support Hub / Click Start a chat / Type “Report a bug, Contact an agent”  / select Enter and follow the prompts

Then, in the form, please include:

    • The affected file link, with Can View access granted to support-share@figma.com.
    • Approximately when the work was last visible, including your timezone.
    • Whether yesterday’s chat messages are still present.
    • Screenshots of the version history and any restoration errors.

The team will need to investigate before confirming what can be recovered. Please also keep private file links and project details in your support request. Thank you!
