Issue with using 'Present' to view prototype flows

Hi. for the past week I've been having an issue with viewing prototype flows using the 'Present' button (please see the video link to help illustrate the issue I'm having).

https://www.loom.com/share/ff7e9f4d19474864b3f08c44fe231811

Basically when I click the 'Present' button, rather than opening the selected flow it instead opens two tabs in Figma. One tab is blank and the other one is the first cover page within the Figma file itself (not the flow). I also get the same issue when launching a preview of the flow (this part works ok) and then clicking 'open in presentation view'.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you fix it?

Cheers!

Hi all,

Update: this issue should be fixed in the latest Stable Desktop app 126.3.12.
Please download the latest version and see if the issue has been resolved.

You can download the latest version here: Figma downloads

Thanks again for flagging this!

I am having the exact same issue. Last week I had no issues but today I do.

I’m having the same issue! Been experiencing it since yesterday. I haven’t seen any other similar report aside from this one.

I’m having the same issue! It worked perfectly yesterday, but not today. Has anyone found a solve yet?

Hi @Rob_Tranter and everyone,

Thanks for flagging this and for sharing the screen recording! I've passed it along to our team for review.

I also noticed that you've already filed a support ticket for this issue (ticket #1827897). That's perfect, thank you!

Our team is actively working on your ticket, and it looks like they've sent you a reply.

When you have a moment, could you please check their response? All future communication regarding this issue will be handled through that ticket email thread to keep everything in one place.

While we haven't been able to reproduce this on our end yet, we have found a similar report in another thread. We now have support tickets from both threads, which will help our team with further investigation.

I'll keep an eye on those tickets and will post an update here if there's any news to share.

Thanks!

Hello again. The issue went away but has since returned. I also have the latest version.

I’m having this issue too. Removing cache helped for about a day, but now the issue is back again.

Hey @Christelle Yammine, @Matt Schoch, and @Henrik Blomqvist

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble presenting your prototype. I’ve checked in with our team and raised this with them so they can investigate. In the meantime, can you all remove and install the newest version of the app? @Christelle Yammine, you in particular should check again since you last reported this a couple weeks ago.

Additionally, could you let me know whether you’re using the desktop app for Windows or for mac OS? Thank you!

Hey everyone, I’m stepping in for @adamsmasher while they’re out of office.

I checked back in with the team, and they’re trying to narrow this down further. Could you confirm if you’re currently on version 126.3.12 of the desktop app?

If you are, I can help get a support ticket created for each of you so this can be investigated more closely. It’d be helpful if you can:

  1. Reproduce the issue
  2. Download Figma desktop app debug logs
  3. Share those logs with our Support team

This will give the team more visibility into what’s going on. We’ll collect those details directly through the support ticket (no need to post them here on the Forum).
