Issue with student verification and edit access

Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue with my account. The site indicates that I need to verify my student status, but I have already completed the verification. When I try to verify again, I receive a message saying that I am already verified.

I am currently working on a school project, but I am stuck in viewer-only mode and cannot edit the file. Could you please help me resolve this so I can continue my work?

    I just recieved an email that my account has successfully been activated but the account is still stuck in the same loop when i log in.

    I can see that you’ve reached out to our education team (#1710390). I’ll escalate this internally. 

    In the meantime s couple of common things to double-check:

    • Education plan access isn’t automatically applied to a team. You may need to make sure you’re creating a new team or upgrading an existing team.  Check out this Help Center article for more information:
      https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041061214-Figma-for-Education#teams.
    • It’s also possible that the verified status was applied to a different Figma account. Please confirm that you’re logged into the same account that you used during the verification process.
       

    Since you’ve mentioned you’re joining a team, you need to reach out to the team admin, owner, and anyone with can edit team access, so they can can adjust your team permissions. 

     

    If you believe your Education status was applied to the wrong account, you can submit this form and our team will help out. Please note, the Figma team cannot move status from an account associated with educational email address to an account associated with a personal email address.
