Issue with Re-verification of Figma Education Account - SheerID verification

Hello Figma Support Team,

I was previously approved for a Figma Education account using my personal email address. Recently, I received a reminder to re-verify my status, but I’ve been unable to complete the re-verification process successfully.

Details of my issue:

  • My account was originally verified for Education Account.

  • During re-verification, I was not prompted to provide any documents.

  • The system now shows my account as “not verified,” and attempts to re-verify keep failing.

  • I previously emailed regarding my issue with re-verifying my Figma Education account but I haven’t received a response yet.

  • I urgently need my Education account active before the end of this month for academic work and projects.

I am currently a student in [SRM TRP Engineering College,Tiruchirappalli], and I can provide proof of enrollment (student ID) if required.

Could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue? If necessary, I am happy to reapply using my official institution email address.

In August 2025, we introduced a new verification process for all users on Figma’s Education plan. Since you were previously verified using your personal email, please update the email to your school-issued account before attempting to verify again.
