Issue when copy paste elements between files or pages in the same file when both files are in split view

When I have two files in the split view, and copy one element/group/instance/frame from file A, paste it to file B, what is pasted in file B is not the same as the what I copied from file A. 

This happens also when I have the same file but different pages in the split view, and copy one element/group/instance/frame from page A, and paste it to page B on the other side of the split view. 

The outcome of pasting can vary randomly:

1. more elements in what I copied
2. a white frame of the same size and shape of what I copied
3. parts of elements are missing in what I copied
