Hi Figma Support Team,

I’m experiencing unusually high loading times with one of our Figma files. The file’s actual content usage is only around 27%, yet it consistently takes a considerable amount of time to load across different systems—even on stable, high-speed internet connections.

We’d like to understand what might be contributing to this slow performance and whether there are any optimizations or best practices you recommend to improve loading speed.

Looking forward to your guidance on resolving this issue.

Best regards,

You should split your design into more pages, this is why it’s taking so long to load. Figma loads one page at a time.

Hi @milaningenero — welcome to the Figma Forum, and thank you, @Apolline, for jumping in to help troubleshoot! 💯

I wanted to check in: @milaningenero, have you had a chance to try the solution mentioned above? If you're still running into loading issues, our Technical Quality team can take a closer look at the file you’re working in.

To get that process started, please fill out this form and include the following:

  • the link to this Forum post for context
  • a link to the file where this is happening
  • edit access granted to support-share@figma.com for the impacted file
  • a screen recording showing the issue in action.

Keep us posted on how it goes — and feel free to reach back out if anything else comes up! 🙏🏻
