Inconsistent components update

Hello,

I did a major update on my design system and library file (changed the value of all the color variable and change the main typography), I published the 2000+ changes, I updated the children files and… nothing or nearly nothing.

Some color are upgraded but not completely, buttons have the old color and old typo, checkboxes have the old color and so on.

The components are OK and the files correctly linked, if I change the color of an instance and change it back, the correct color is displayed so the library is definitely updated.

Same for the instances, if I change one property and rollback, or reset the instance, it’s good.

I tried closing files, closing Figma, closing and reset Figma via the help menu, nothing works.

Maybe it’s linked to instances with nested properties as those properties don’t update neither, but I’m not even sure.

Obviously I can’t edit all the elements trough all my files one by one, and there is not “force update” button. After a relaunch, I can update again the same components already updated, but it doesn’t work either.

Components and instances are the cornerstone of Figma and Design System, I’m literally stuck with an old design that I have to deliver to a client, it’s highly sensitive.

HI ​@Julien_Dedale - thank you for reaching out to us here on the forum. I’ve seen your responses on other existing topics, and do want to acknowledge your feedback and concerns over your library updates not applying correctly.

Since your library is quite large, and the contents are sensitive, I believe that this would be best handled by our support team. As a moderator, I am not able to access or review any files, and do not want to recommend any actions that could be destructive to your work. 

I can confirm your submitted ticket (#2108543) is assigned to our support team, and someone will touch base to assist further.  However, I cannot guarantee a timeframe.
