When I try to open my files it says,  “An error occur while openingt the editor”.

And when I try to make new file it says”Network error while fetching resource”

 

This happens on both browser and desktop and it doesnt matter if i change account. Im having an educatonal account.

When you see this error, it's most commonly caused by a VPN, network proxy or security software blocking access to come level of network access.

Here are a few steps you can try:

  • If this issue occurs on a specific network, it may help to adjust your proxy, VPN, or firewall settings. Please add Figma to your network security ‘safe list’ and check that Port 443 is unblocked. You can refer to our Technical troubleshooting tips for guidance or, reach out to your IT Admins or ISP (Internet Service Provider) for support.
  • Please also try temporarily disabling any anti-virus software and check if this still occurs
  • If the issue persists, try the following:

    • Force-quit and restart the Figma desktop app or your browser

    • Restart your computer and your modem or router
