I typed in a request to figma make and it did the request and then the stuff it had just done vanished and my ai credits were gone.

First, it's worth checking whether it’s is actually gone or just not rendering. Click the Refresh preview button at the top left of the preview, and if that doesn't bring it back, try restoring an earlier version of the file from its version history.

A couple of things that would help me narrow this down:

• Did you see the finished dashboard in the preview before the chat vanished, or did it all disappear the moment it said it was done?
• Any error message along the way? If so, it may be listed in Troubleshoot in Figma Make → Error messages with a fix.

On the credits question — I can't review those details from Figma Forum, but Customer Support can take a deeper dive into the file and associated credits on your behalf. The best move for that is opening a bug report through the Support Hub covering both the missing output and the credits, so it's all in one place. A short screen recording helps (if possible), and sharing the file with support-share@figma.com with view access lets the team reproduce it.
