I paid to access dev mode. My card was charged and I can see in Figma I have a Dev seat. But when I click to access dev mode I get the same message telling me I need to ask an admin to enter dev mode? What gives?

Hi @anthonybudd94,

I understand that you have a Dev seat but are unable to access Dev Mode in a file.

I checked on our end, and it looks like your Dev seat is assigned to one Professional team. You can see the team name under the “Your spaces” section in the first screenshot you shared.

Could you please double-check whether the file you’re trying to open in Dev Mode belongs to the same team where you have the Dev seat?
Just so you know, you can only access Dev Mode in files that belong to the team where the Dev Mode seat was purchased.

If you confirm that the file is in the correct team and the issue still persists, the next step would be to contact our support team directly using this secure form: Submit a request

When contacting them, please include:

  • The URL of the affected file

  • A screenshot similar to the third one you shared, showing the full Figma screen

This will help our team take a closer look and investigate further.

Thanks,

I want a refund, thats blatantly a UX scam. I paid to access a service, you took my money and won’t give me access to the service.

Hello @anthonybudd94 - stepping in for Junko. Apologies on this - it is not our intention to come off this way, but we also understand that seat types and plans can get confusing.

We are not able to help with any billing changes on the forum (refunds requests, payment method changes, etc) for privacy and security reasons, so you will need to receive assistance from our support team via email.

I did take a look on my end, and saw you did put in a ticket request already (#1551511). I went ahead and escalated the priority on it for you, and someone will be in touch shortly.
