I have lost access of my file

Do you see any error messages when trying to open the file? It’s possible that something has changed with your access permissions.

To cover some basics, here are a few things to check:

  • Make sure you’re logged into the correct Figma account that should have access to this file. You can switch accounts using the top-right or top-left corners of the file browser.
  • Check if the file may have been accidentally deleted: open your Drafts > go to the Deleted section and right-click the file to restore it.
  • If someone else had access to the file, it may have been moved to a location you no longer have access to. It’s worth checking in with your teammate if that might be the case.
