I am admin but can't update file share access

I am admin and owner of project (In education plan).

However, when I try to update access of someone, it says 'You don't have permission to do that. Contact your administrator.'

How do I fix it?

    I understand that you’re running into an issue where you’re unable to update someone’s access to a file, even though you’re the admin and owner.


    I checked on our end and can see that you have access to multiple teams, including Student and Starter teams. To take a closer look, could you please share the file link where this is happening?

    You may be able to find the file URL from one of the following places:

    • Desktop app: Right-click the file tab and select Copy link, or check File → Recently Closed
    • Browser: Your web browser’s history
    • Any previous conversations where you may have shared the file with collaborators

    If you’d prefer to share the link privately, you can do so via DM by clicking the profile icon on this message and then selecting the mail icon.
