So… I wanted to add a video to Slides, and because it wouldn’t let me on the free plan, I upgraded to a collab plan. Then proceeded to add the video -- all good.
Then, I went to share a figma presentation, and I got the popup saying “you’re about to get a full seat”. I genuinely don’t understand what this thing about seats is (please hire a content designer to explain things better!) and because I needed to share the presentation (which I was able to do on the free plan), I clicked on Continue, because it was the ONLY available option.
Then Figma immediately proceeded to create a new invoice charging me for Figma and god knows what, when I had that feature (sharing files) for FREE before.
I immediately sent a ticket to request a refund, because it’s hilarious that you don’t charge for a feature on a free plan, but the minute I upgrade the plan to collab, then you want to charge me for features that were free before. This makes absolute zero sense. For a design company, this is pretty terrible UX. I saw there’s other forums talking about this issue as well.
I didn’t receive any email confirmation saying my ticket had been created, except for a tiny banner on figma.com saying you would reply one day.
How do I contact support? I want a refund for this, it’s incredibly deceiving.
