Question

Hug Gap When Pasting or Importing MD file in Specs

Paste a mardown file into a spec
and import the same markdown file

You will see the render has a big gap

Please do something to facilitate the pasting.

Hey, ​@Bobaaa! Thanks for your post, and that’s definitely a pretty different result. It looks like the pasted text is not being formatted correctly, unlike the imported markdown which converted to formatted text.

 

I was able to reproduce this, and I’ve shared your feedback with the team for review. In the meantime, importing a markdown file looks to be the way to go so it automatically formats the text. Let me know if you have any questions, and I’ll update this thread again when I know more.

    I found another way that is faster than importing a file. However, it requires software that is already rendering Markdown. Pasting the rendered Markdown works.

    For now I copy the version on the right.
