Figma updated today, and after our team discovered that hug contents had been removed on almost every single frame and text object in all our pages.

To go through manually and re-apply hug/auto-layout contents to these objects would take probably around a week so I’m wondering what in the latest update could have caused this and if there’s a way to undo it.

Thanks,

Hey @Ky70 ,
Sorry to hear this happened! That definitely sounds frustrating.
As a workaround, try checking your file's version history in order to restore a previous version (and see if the hug contents are restored). You can follow this guide here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038006754-View-a-file-s-version-history#h_01HAW5W5YMRQRYGJMX4KGC7MEQ

If this still doesn’t help, please reach out directly to the support team here: Submit a bug report

Our support team can investigate it further. In the form, make sure to:

  • use your Figma email account
  • include when you noticed the change and any steps you’ve tried
  • share a link of the affected file, and add support-share@figma.com as an Editor, so they can take a closer look. Thank you!
