How to updated fixed width of an instance ?

Hello !
I’m trying to resize the label of my vertical input component.
It cant be set to fill, neither hug, because they are working together with multiple instances inside a form, so they need a fixed same dimension, but adapting depending on context.

I found an answer with a weird trick to achieve this, but isn’t there a better/native way to do that ?
