How to stop this?

Hi,

 

long Figma user here. Just recently noticed here and there some components in my library are getting these weird, long unprompted component documentation which are obviously AI rendered. Every time some pop up I have to manually remove then and that’s been nagging at me.

 

I am my company DS head and have never prompted this, nor have been asked to consent. How do I stop this forever?

Hi ​@Alk, welcome to Figma Forum and thanks for flagging this. I get how unexpected documentation showing up on components would be concerning, especially as the one running the design system.

To help me narrow down where it's coming from, a few questions:

  1. Are you on an Enterprise/Organization plan, or Professional/Starter?
  2. Does anyone else have edit access to the affected library files? If so, might be worth checking if a teammate may have add the documentation by reviewing the version history: View a file's version history → Access version history.
  3. Could you share a screenshot of one of these documentation blocks and the component it's on?

That'll help me figure out whether this is tied to a Figma AI feature, a plugin, or something in the file's setup. I’ll keep watch for you reply!
