How to resize the arrow connector length (mindmap) in FigJam?

I simply cannot adjust the spacing between two mind map boxes without it:

1. Snapping back into place where it was originally, or

2. The arrow disappears sometimes when I try to reposition it.

 

FigJam is a great tool, but this one things (bug?) has been so annoying,

    I also have this same problem!  Seeing your post was made 3 months ago, hopefully more traction helps resolve this bug.

    If so, is it happening in all of your FigJam files or with a specific file?
