Question

How to remove old SCIM users if old SCIM is no longer accessible.

We switched away from Entra ID as our SSO / SCIM Provider A handful of User accounts where left over but still say SCIM Managed. They have no option to remove them.  How can I delete these users now?

Hi ​@Nathan Nichols. Thanks for your post! It’s understandable that this feels like a dead end when the usual removal options aren't showing up!

 

I’m not sure if you’ve tried this yet, but you can remove those stale SCIM records directly from the Admin SCIM panel:

  1. From the file browser, click Admin in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the People tab, then look for the SCIM Users section (usually at the bottom of the members area).
  3. Use the search filter to find each affected user by email or username.
  4. From there, you should have the option to delete the individual SCIM records.

Once those records are removed, the accounts should either be removable through the standard People tab flow, or they'll no longer appear as active members.

 

Could you give that a try and let me know what you see? If the search isn't filtering correctly or the delete option still isn't appearing, just let me know and we’ll go from there.
