Hi, figma support team! I am urgently need to move or change all of my design file in figma to new email account. Currently i use student Email with student plan, and in three months my account will be deleted because i was graduated. Now i need to move it so my work doesn't lost entirely. If there any other option, such as export it offline or anything else, it will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Hi there, great thinking to plan ahead! Since you still have access to your student account, here are two options:

Option 1 — Update your email address
The simplest option is to update the email on your existing Figma account to your personal email before your student email is deactivated. Here's how: Manage email address or password

This keeps all your files in place. Just note that updating your email will revoke your Education status and move you to a Starter plan. So I’d recommend to update it a few days before your email address is deleted.

Please note that on the Starter plan, there are the following limitations:

  • 3 total Figma Design and Figma Sites files in a folder
  • 3 files per each for FigJam and Figma Slides

If you have more than the allowed number of files in your team when you downgrade, Figma will prevent you from being able to edit them. To keep editing those files, move them to another team or to your drafts. Learn more about moving files

For more information: Downgrade to Starter Plan

Option 2 — Save a local copy of your files
If you'd prefer to keep your accounts separate, save a local copy of each file to your computer and then import them into your personal account. Note that if your files use styles or components from a team library, they won't receive library updates after being imported.

Both options will result in a Starter plan, so it really comes down to your preference, hope this helps! 🙏
