How do you disable the pointer events for elements (buttons, links, inputs, etc.) that are being obscured by modals, dropdowns, or anything else? The giant gray block shown below is the overlay container for a future megamenu, but the underlying, clickable elements are obviously still available to the mouse. That’s not ideal.
