For example, I want “->” in a text field but Figma changes it to “→”
How can I prevent that?
I’ve tried disabling spell check but it didn't work.

Hi
You can disable Smart Symbols from the Main menu in a Figma Design file. Navigate to Preferences > Uncheck “Use smart quotes/symbols”.
