Question

Hit the EDU verification limit because the wrong team was verified.

Hi there,

I accidentally applied my Education verification to the wrong team (‘Intro to Figma’). I have now left/deleted that team. Please transfer or activate my Education plan for the correct team: ARTC1359 – Spring 2026.

Hey ​@IngaMorelock, thank you for reaching out! 

You can switch to the team you need to upgrade to the Education plan
 

 

 

Upgrade the team to Education plan 

  1. From the file browser, switch to the team you’d like to upgrade and click All projects.
  2. Click the dropdown menu next to the team name and select View settings.
  3. Click the prompt to Upgrade your plan.
  4. Select Upgrade to Professional. 

 

 

 

In the summary on the right, select Yes for the Is this an Education team? option.

 

 

 

Click Next: Review.

 

 

 

Click Complete upgrade.

Figma will upgrade the team to an Education team
