Hi @Pyatimat,

I understand you’re seeing a 404 error when trying to open a file.

I took a quick look on our side and it seems you’re part of multiple Starter teams.

If you’re the owner of the file, could you check the “Trash” in each team?

You can switch teams from the file browser sidebar by clicking the arrow next to your team name.

When checking Trash, select “Created by anyone” and “All files” just to be safe.

A few notes:

  • Files can’t be opened directly from Trash.

  • Anyone with can edit access to the project can move files to Trash.

More info:

If you’re not the owner of the file, you’ll need to reach out to whoever owns it. More details here:

If you’ve checked all teams and looked through the docs but still can’t find the file, feel free to share the file URL here. If you’re using the Desktop app, you can get the URL by right-clicking the tab.

Happy to help you figure out the next steps!

Thanks,

Hi  @Junko3 , I tried to restore the file by going to the projects. I am the owner of the file, so I would really like to restore it. I am attaching a link to the file https://www.figma.com/file/VNVipGw6DpEMkbUuNYmT22?node-id=0-1&p=f&t=aVnTf8NcbtWR5gET-0&type=design&mode=design&fuid=1039546361792740130

Thanks for sharing the file link.

I checked internally, and I’m afraid there’s no file that matches the URL you provided. This suggests that the file was permanently deleted.

An editor can delete a file and leave it in a restorable state at first, but they also have the option to delete it forever. Once a file is permanently deleted, the action cannot be undone.

If you have any additional questions about this file, please let us know the details, and I can open a support ticket on your behalf if needed.

Thanks for your understanding.
