Hello,

Could you please explain how to remove the top bar when viewing my project in full-screen mode? I would like to have a completely immersive full-screen view.

Is a paid subscription required to access this feature? I do not wish to make this project public or share it at this time.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

Hey @projetprognosis , Celine from the Community Support team at Figma here.

Could you clarify which part of the interface you're referring to from ‘the top bar’? If you're referring to editing a design file, please note the only way to reduce the panels is via this icon (reducing the left and right panels at the same time only) :

Figma has also a built-in Show/Hide UI toggle that hides the Figma interface (toolbar and panels) option for a more immersive experience, and this doesn't require a paid subscription that may be helpful for you.

The quickest way that works regardless of your keyboard: right-click anywhere on the empty canvas and select Show/Hide UI. If the UI stays hidden and you want it back, the same right-click menu (or reopening the file) will bring it back.

And to answer your other question: this is completely local to your own view — it has nothing to do with sharing or publishing. Your project stays private; nothing changes about who can see it. Let me know if that gets you the immersive view you're after!

This is in the fullscreen mode of Figma Make. There is still a top bar that remains visible, and I can't find any way to remove it.

I've noticed that on some community prototypes, this top bar wasn't visible. How can I hide or remove it?

Thanks for sharing the screenshot, very helpful to visualise your request! I can confirm that this is an expected behavior, this is not possible to remove the top bar in Figma Make. I’ve shared your feedback along to the team for consideration, thank you!
