Frustrated with Figma's AI Credits billing — charging me for a subscription I never knowingly signed up for.

Frustrated with Figma's AI Credits billing — being asked to pay for a subscription I never knowingly signed up for.

I used the AI credits add-on once last month as a one-time top-up. What I didn't realise was that this would auto-enroll me into a recurring monthly charge. There was no clear opt-in for an ongoing subscription during the purchase.

Last month I've used zero extra AI credits — yet I've received an invoice for $195. Breaking it down:
• $180 — AI credits I did not use and did not sign up for as a recurring charge
• $15 — Dev seat charge, which I am happy to pay

I've had a support ticket open since May 1st #1879798 with no resolution after a week of follow-ups.

This feels like a dark pattern — a one-time purchase silently becoming a subscription should be communicated upfront and clearly. I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to.

Figma team — can someone please look into this? I'm not trying to avoid paying for what I use. I'm simply asking for the $180 AI credits charge to be removed from my invoice and the monthly add-on to be cancelled.

Happy to resolve this quietly, but the lack of response has pushed me to post here. Has anyone else experienced this?

Just to clarify, the AI credits add-on on the Professional plan currently runs as a recurring monthly subscription.
