Frames disappear randomly

There was a moment of utter shock when I saw all the frames disappeared. I opened version history to access older frames and luckly was able to retrieve them. This has happened multiple times as of now.

I’ve checked are there any updates and I’m using the latest version of Figma.
I would really appreciate if we can investigate this issue to know how to avoid them in future. I’m here to help

Download and share your Figma desktop app debug logs with the team (steps here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/19589001018903-Download-Figma-desktop-app-debug-logs)
Share links to the affected files and invite support-share@figma.com with can edit access

Sorry to hear your student is running into the same issue. The best next step would be for them to submit a bug report so the team can take a closer look and assist them directly.

Could you ask them to:

Go to the Support Hub
Click Start a chat
Type “Report a bug”

To help with the investigation, it would also be really helpful if they could:

Download and share their Figma desktop app debug logs (steps here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/19589001018903-Download-Figma-desktop-app-debug-logs)
Share a direct link to the impacted file and invite support-share@figma.com with “Can View” access (this won’t impact billing and allows the team to reproduce and investigate further)
