Hi Figma team,
I encountered an issue while working on my project today. I didn’t have one of the project fonts installed on my computer, so Figma showed a “font missing” message.
To continue working, I replaced the missing font only for one frame that I was editing — not the entire file. However, after doing this, many text layers in the file started to change to the replacement font automatically, even though they were linked to text styles and I hadn’t modified them.
Now, when I click on any text layer (even ones with the correct style linked), it suddenly switches to the replacement font.
