Font Installer Not Working on Figma Web After macOS Update

Anna Flávia

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with Figma Web related to the font installer. I’ve tried reinstalling it several times, and although I get a “success” message, the fonts still don’t show up in Figma.

My MacBook was recently updated to macOS Tahoe 26.1, and this issue started right after the update. The fonts work normally in the desktop app, but I really don’t like using the desktop version — I prefer Figma Web, which is essential for my workflow.

I’d like to request assistance to fix this issue or understand how to restore normal functionality with the installed fonts on Figma Web.

Thank you in advance!

Try:

System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access
→ Look for FigmaFontHelper
→ Enable it (toggle ON)
