File recovery / Account issue

Thanks for reaching out and for sharing the screenshot, that’s really helpful. Just a quick heads up that I’ve redacted your email in your post for privacy.

I understand that you accidentally deleted a file named “BAS” around April 2 and are looking to recover it.

As a first step, could you check your Trash in the File Browser? Deleted files are usually stored there for a period of time before being permanently removed.

Here’s how to check and restore it:
1. Open Trash from the sidebar in your file browser
2. Look under both the Files and Projects tabs
3. If you find the file, right-click and select Restore to return it to its original location
4. If the original project no longer exists, you can select Duplicate to drafts to create a copy in Drafts (note: this won’t include permissions, comments, version history, or library connections)

If you’re part of multiple teams, it’s worth checking the Trash for each team as well.

If the file isn’t in Trash, it may have been permanently deleted or removed as part of a deleted project or team.

In that case, I’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket for you so the team can take a closer look — your case number is #1861234.

If you happen to have a direct link to the file, it would be really helpful if you could reply to the ticket with that.
