Hi @Cherine H

It sounds like you’re running into issues using the Figma desktop app on macOS Big Sur 11.7.10.

At the moment, the Figma desktop app requires macOS 12 or later to run properly. You can find more details here: Guide to the Figma desktop app

That said, you can try using the browser version of Figma, which is supported on macOS 11 or later. To access your files in the browser, you can get the file URL from the desktop app by:

  • Right-clicking the file tab and selecting Copy link (If the file isn’t currently open, going to File → Recently Closed to find it.)

Figma supports the following browsers:

  • Chrome 99 or later
  • Firefox 101 or later
  • Safari 16 or later
  • Microsoft Edge 121 or later

You can check the full system requirements here: What are the system requirements for Figma?

Thanks,
