Since yesterday the Figma to Framer Plugin no longer works, it freezes, claiming to be running.

Turns out it works well on the web app, but not on the desktop version. A lot of users on the Framer forum are having the same exact issue.

Anybody else here? Framer (who i guess developed it) have been notified, but no response

Hey, I've been facing the same issue. Did it get resolved?

same issue

Same issue here…

Try installing again. I installed the Plugin again through the browser and then opened it in the app and it started working again.

have reinstalled several times, but will try thru the browser and see if it has any impact on the desktop version @oviniciuscorrea , thanks for the tip!

Nope, @oviniciuscorrea, didn’t affect the desktop app… 😢

Mmmm the answer is not working...

Hey All, sorry to hear this!

We’re not able to troubleshoot community plugins. But I’m glad to hear @Jomi.se notified Framer, because the best option for support will be reaching out to figma@framer.com directly, as listed on the plugin’s community page.

until now, either the problem is with the desktop apps (framer and figma), because on the website version it works completely fine.

It’s 19/2 and its not working still ether web or app version.

I had the same issue today, and it turns out the app Pastpal was causing the problem.
To fix it, I unchecked the 'Auto Plain Text' option in Pastpal.
This solution might work for other clipboard apps as well.

I think, in general, avoiding plain text when copying will help preserve the necessary data.
