Hi Figma team,

 

I’ve noticed a few earlier posts regarding support for the latest version of the Inter typeface have been closed without resolution, so I wanted to reopen the conversation.

Currently, Figma supports Inter 3.0, but Inter 4.0 introduces important enhancements—most notably the tabular numbers (tabnums) feature, which is particularly valuable when designing financial software and data-heavy interfaces.

Would you be able to share if there are any plans to update the supported version of Inter in Figma? For reference, I’ve reattached the image that compares Inter 3.0 and 4.0, originally provided in a previous post.

If you download Inter from Google fonts https://fonts.google.com/selection then install “Inter 18pt” for example and adjust the details as in the screenshot below, then you will get what you are looking for.
