I get to create an design file and i am thrown a pop up that the seat will be converted to full seat, then when i try to manage the seats im now unable to remove the seat which i desperately wanted to

creating a design file, triggers an invoice, and im not supposed to immediately revert the seat conversion?

The next invoice is to be at 30 days from now, i need to get this sorted, i am not supposed to pay for the UI traps

Figma team please make a note of this, I am cancelling,  the prorated whatever rates should not be deducted as i am unable to prevent that from happening NOR you have  a SIMPLE UI to let us know these, i have seats and im just the only one who has to use it- I wont

it says that if i dont assign any i wont be charged, but i didnt even consent to have it in the first place, i just created a design file in my collab seat- that’s the crime!

Hi, @vasanth_edu. Sounds like you’ve had a confusing experience trying to manage seats with your plan.

How many files did you create on your non-student team? With the Starter plan you can have up to three files, so it shouldn’t have prompted upgrading unless you were trying to create another file beyond three. To answer your question about unassigned seats being removed, from your screenshot it looks you have successfully unassigned those. The language in the screenshot regarding them being removed at renewal is correct. While you’ve already taken care of this yourself, you can learn more about this with our managing billing on the Professional plan help article.

In the meantime, I’ve created a ticket for you with our support team regarding your refund request since we can’t directly assist with that here in the forum. You should hear back soon - thank you for your patience!
