why figma getting slow. whether it is because of complex design components or any other reason.
Hello Sujata,
Figma is not slow unless there is an abnormal situation.
It is a situation caused by your file system.
If you do not follow the design system principles, your Figma document will slow down. You should check the memory usage in your document frequently. (It should not exceed 65%)

Hi Sedatcakir,
We are regulary checking memory usage and also splits files. but while loading component templates it’s takes time to switch from one file to other file. is this becoz we have lots of component like tables, data. as we are into fintech form and need to use lot of data in table and card formats?
Hey
To help me look into this more closely, could you let me know a few details?
- Do you have any memory alerts?
- Does it happen in one specific file, or across all your files?
- Are you seeing this in the desktop app, the browser, or both?
- When did you first start noticing the slowdowns?
- How often is the issue happening — every time, or off and on?
- And lastly, have you had a chance to try resetting Figma or restarting to see if that helps?
It would be helpful, if you’re able to share a screen recording with me. I can get you connected with our support team to investigate what’s causing this.

Hi
I’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket for you (Ticket #1372906), and someone from our team will be in touch with you shortly to take a closer look.
If you’re able please provide a direct link to the file with our support team, and invite support-share@figma.com with "can edit" permission, so they can look into this further. Note that users with @figma.com emails on your team do not count towards your billing. Also a screen recording of the issue would be super helpful for the team as they investigate. This can really speed up the troubleshooting process.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help with!
