Figma Sites will not publish - tried multiple times

Hi there,

 

I’ve been trying to publish a site for a while now. It just says unable to publish - try again or contact support. Can you please check?

I understand that you’re seeing the message “Unable to publish — try again or contact support” when attempting to publish your site.

 

To cover the basics, could you please confirm the following:

  • Please try fully refreshing Figma and see if that makes any difference.
  • Is the Figma Sites file in a paid plan team, and do you have edit access to the file? Publishing is available to paid plan teams and requires edit access
  • Does this happen in both the desktop app and supported browsers, or only one of them?
  • Could you duplicate the file and try publishing from the duplicate?
  • In the Publish modal, are there any flagged issues? If so, please fix them, wait a few minutes, and try publishing again.

If you’ve tried all of the above and are still seeing the issue, please check the DM I’ll be sending you shortly so we can investigate further.
