Figma Sites: Navigation bar does not extend behind iPhone dynamic island (notch)

Hello Figma community! 

I’m having issues when working with a fixed navigation bar on Figma Sites, particularly when viewing the website from Safari on an iPhone.

When scrolling, the content from the website goes underneath the dynamic island (aka notch) correctly. And the navigation bar stays where it should. Still, I can’t figure out a way to “extend” the navigation bar background to cover that area behind the notch. With the design I have, it just makes the navigation bar look bad because it looks like a floating element.

Ideally there should be a way to, either extend the background from the navigation bar behind the notch or to set that area to a specific color, like always black, for example.

Is there anything that I can do to fix it?
