I tried copying my design into Site. It looks good in this editor view with Gobold from Google Fonts:
But there are still Missing Fonts notices:
I replaced so many times but it could not show up in preview:
Sorry that this is my private work so I cannot share the file, but I hope somebody could guide me to the solution, or explain what happens to the fonts in editor and in preview. I can describe the situation as detailed as you need.
Do I need to do any extra steps to get these fonts showed up in my site?

Gobold is not a part of Google Fonts, that’s why it’s not available in Figma Sites

It is not the cause, because the same happens with many Google Fonts, like Benne, Spectral and a lot more Google Fonts. Even System Fonts like Times New Roman are not displayed correctly here.

I’m not sure why it happened to Benne and Spectral, but Gobold and Times New Roman are not a part of Google Fonts, and it is the cause they are not available in Figma Sites. For now, Figma Sites supports only Google Fonts.

It’s not just Google Fonts like Benne and Spectral causing trouble. Even some of the fonts Figma used in their new templates—like Instrument Serif, Instrument Sans, Hedvig Letter Serif, and many more—aren’t working quite right. And no, we’re not talking about something wild like Gobold.
Hi @Manuel_Esposito
Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. If you're experiencing this with Google Fonts, could you try using the "Recompute text layout in selection" option from the Actions menu? You can access this by pressing Command+K on Mac or Control+K on Windows.
This will help our engineering team pinpoint exactly what's happening.
Thanks for your patience!

@y_toku Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately it didn’t make a difference. Instead it lead me to try to reproduce the problem in different browsers.
Chrome: Fonts displayed not correctly
Brave: ( based on the Chromium web browser): Fonts displayed not correctly
Figma App: Fonts displayed not correctly
Figma App Beta: Fonts displayed not correctly
Safari: It works correctly! the fonts are displayed just right!
Maybe we get closer to find a solution. I will submit the bug and let you know.
It explains the difference between Google Fonts and the Installed by you section (which are also Google Fonts). If I use Google Fonts everything works correctly, but there are not all of Google Fonts in the Google Fonts section. For example, Instrument Serif, which is used in the new Serene Wellness Coaching template is not part of the Google Fonts section (at least on my system).
I am wondering is there a way to update or extend the Google Fonts section to all Google Fonts. Do I miss something? Thanks
Hi @Manuel_Esposito
Thanks for following up on this! It looks like we don't currently have all the latest versions of Google Fonts available within Figma. Our team does update our font library occasionally, but unfortunately, I can't provide any specific timeline for when the next update might roll out.
I appreciate your understanding and patience on this matter!

Hi @y_toku, I’ve noticed this text rendering issue today, as well. My sites were rendering my Google Fonts fine last week, but I’ve noticed an issue with the sans-serif fonts for some reason. The serif fonts seem to be rendering fine. I’m using Figtree (sans-serif) and Coustard (serif).
Update: Issue can be resolved by deactivating your locally installed Google fonts from Font Book or other font managers. Link to other thread...
