Figma Sites CMS publishing error

Rook Studios

Since the CMS launch, none of the sites we’ve set up with CMS functionality can be updated or published. No changes are able to be pushed live. Is there a dedicated fix or solution for this issue?

@ksn to be clear: all current, live (already connected/published) sites cannot be updated. Including client sites like this one. So, we are completely unable to publish any new changes. Please resolve ASAP 🙏🏼

Same here. I heavily started experimenting with CMS and website stopped publishing. 😫
Waiting for fix.


Also, could you, please, add the tag “CMS”​​​​ to help them notice your report.

Same. I have been trying to learn figma CMS (just clicking around). Now I'm trying to publish, but even when I deleted all the CMS, still can't publish the changes.

Hi all - I’m inquiring with the teams that work on sites overall to see if they can review. I’ll make another reply post here when I’ve learned more.

Is it possible for any of you to share files you are trying to publish updates on? There’s some debugging going on internally, and that would be super helpful for engineering.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and shared their files so far! I can confirm that there are teams actively working to help alleviate this right now. You may have already gotten messages from support members in our technical quality team, and they will continue to give you updates individually.

@Yelnar_Bolatov still not updating/publishing on our end.

@ksn pinging you for visibility. Currently have 4 connected sites with a CMS, and only one is working (which started suddenly late last night MST).

Same here, still now working. I refreshed Figma and getting the same warning: ‘Update attempt was unsuccessful’

@rbz I can confirm that publishing is now successful for all sites running a CMS! Whatever you guys did, it worked. Thank you! 🙌🏼

Hey ​@liudmila.blocshop - just wanted to step in to let you know that I did see our engineering and technical quality teams are reviewing your case again. I did see you requested an update earlier today, and you should get more information after support learns more.

However, we have a higher volume of messages at the moment, so you may experience a delay in response due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Apologies for that in the meantime 🙏🏻
