Figma Sites Bug: Pattern fills are not being displayed

I can’t import patterns of any kind, as the dialog windows does not prompt when clicking the  “Select source” button in the panel. 

The shape has to be a vector! You can’t use the Rectangle or Circle tool. Try making the rectangle with the pen tool, it worked for me.
