• First, try closing any extra Figma tabs that might be using up resources
• Browser users : Force-quit your browser and open Figma in a fresh window
• Desktop App users : Force-quit and restart the app. If that doesn't help, try clearing the cache

If you're still experiencing this issue after trying these steps, could you share a screen recording or screenshots that include your layers panel? This would help me understand exactly what's happening so I can try to reproduce it on my end.
