I have a personal Figma account (used only once on this device) and company account that I am  mainly using. However, every time I open Figma, it defaults back to my personal account — even after I remove it, it reappears.

My work account, on the other hand, requires me to log in again every time I switch users — which can be up to 7–8 times a day.

Setup:

  • Mac Desktop App

  • Chrome browser

Has anyone experienced this or found a good way to make sure Figma reliably stays logged in to the correct account? Any suggestions would be really helpful!

Hi @Nur Karadeniz,

I understand you're having issue with your Figma accounts, where it keeps defaulting to your personal one even after you remove it, and you have to log into your work account multiple times a day.

While we wait for input from our community, we'd love to get a few more details to help us understand what's happening.

First, when you're in the file browser, if you click your name at the top-left of the screen, do you see both of your accounts listed under the "Switch account" section?

If not, please refer to these guides to set up multiple accounts and see if that improves things:

If you've already set up your accounts by following the guides above, could you tell us:

  • If you switch to your company account in your file browser > "Switch account" section, does it immediately ask you to log in again?
  • After you switch to your company account in your file browser, if you then visit figma.com, does it open the file browser for that same account you just switched to?

This information will really help us understand exactly what you're seeing and how we can best assist you.

Thanks,
