Figma overcharged me through unclear billing practices

James Beck

My story is similar to many others’ stories here on the Figma Forum. I shared links from my personal account with 1 other person.  That other person was added as a professional seat on my account for $20 dollars without my consent and without even informing me of the additional charges. I also added 2,500 AI credits last month for my personal account as I ran out of AI credits, but I found out that the charge was not a 1 time charge but a recurring monthly charge. I did not consent to this recurring monthly AI credit charge and was not informed of this additional charge. Not only did I get an additional AI credit charge, but the extra seat (which I did not consent to) was also given an additional AI credit charge (which I did not consent to).

I only want 1 professional seat for myself with no recurring AI charges going forward.  The total charge should be $20 a month for this 1 seat. My bill last week was for $172.90 for 2 seats and 2 2,500 AI credit charges.  I would like a 1 time refund of $152.90.
