Hi Figma team,

Since September 1, images have stopped displaying when using Figma Mirror on mobile devices.

Frames, text, shapes, and other UI elements are displayed normally, but image assets are completely missing in Mirror.

What I've tested:

  • Regular JPEG images do not display.
  • The issue occurs across different Figma files.
  • I tested it on my phone and my colleague tested it on a different phone — both have the same issue.
  • Text, shapes, and other UI elements display normally.
  • The images display correctly in the Figma design file itself.

Expected behavior:
Images should display normally in Figma Mirror along with the rest of the frame.

Actual behavior:
The frame is mirrored correctly, but all image assets are missing.

This issue has persisted since September 1 and is reproducible on multiple mobile devices.

Is this a known issue with Figma Mirror's image rendering or asset loading?

Thanks!
