Hi Figma Support,

I have a Full seat on a Starter plan and I'm actively using Figma MCP for an app Ul project.

28

I reached the MCP tool-call limit yesterday.

The date has changed, but I am still receiving this error:

"You've reached the Figma MCP tool call limit on the Starter plan."

Could you please check when my MCP quota is supposed to reset and why it has not reset yet?

Also, some calls were consumed by failed tool attempts. If possible, please reset or restore my MCP quota so I can continue my project.

Thank you.

Hi @Ludo Pasa, Celyn from the Figma Community Support team here.

Thanks for reaching out and providing this additional context. I’m sorry that you haven’t heard back from the team yet and that this is blocking your work.

I understand that you purchased a paid Full seat specifically for higher MCP access, but you’re still seeing the Starter plan tool-call limit.

To clarify how these limits work, users accessing resources on the Starter plan are limited to up to six MCP tool calls per month. The team can confirm the exact reset timing for your account through your support ticket.

MCP limits are based on both your seat type and the plan where the requested file is located. Since your file is in a team on the Starter plan, the Starter limit applies, even if you have a Full seat on a separate paid plan.

To use the paid-plan limits associated with your Full seat, the file should be located in a project under the Professional, Organization, or Enterprise plan where that seat is assigned.

I’ve located your existing support ticket, #2114266, and added an internal note so the team has the full context. The team will review your account and follow up with you directly through the ticket, so please keep an eye on your inbox. Thanks for your patience in the meantime 🙏

Important additional detail: I recently paid around $20 specifically to get a Full seat for higher MCP access. My account now shows a Full seat, but MCP is still blocking me with the Starter plan tool-call limit.

Could you please check whether my Full seat is being correctly recognized by MCP? If it is not, please help correct the entitlement. I would also like to know whether the payment can be refunded if the Full seat does not provide the MCP access shown in the current documentation.

Hi Figma Support,

I have been waiting for an update for 4 days, but I still have not received a response from a human support agent.

I purchased a paid Full seat specifically because I needed higher MCP access for my app UI project. However, MCP is still showing the Starter plan tool-call limit and I am unable to continue my work.

The exact message I am receiving is:

“You’ve reached the Figma MCP tool call limit on the Starter plan.”

My account shows a Full seat, but MCP still appears to be treating my usage as Starter. Please check whether my Full seat is correctly recognized by MCP and whether my file/workspace needs to be moved or converted to the paid workspace.

If purchasing the Full seat does not increase this MCP limit, please clearly confirm that as well, because I purchased the seat specifically for this purpose.

Please have a human support agent review this issue as soon as possible, as my development work is currently blocked.

Thank you.

Hi, I checked my Figma account as requested.

My account currently shows only “Ludo Pasa’s team — Free”. I cannot see any Professional workspace/team where my paid Full seat is assigned.

This appears to be the actual issue. I purchased a Full seat specifically for higher MCP access, but my account is still showing only the Free/Starter team and MCP shows “Out of calls.”

Please check where my paid Full seat has been assigned and help me move/assign it to the correct paid workspace so I can use the MCP access I paid for.

I am attaching screenshots showing the Free team and MCP usage screen
