I design my emails in Figma and then chop them up using slices. I created a Claude skill that automatically exports Figma elements to Klaviyo, specifically these slices. Everything is working well EXCEPT - slices for some reason do not include any Figma images elements. which means no background images, no logos, product images, nothing. If i export manually it works okay.
I noticed that if I export frames however, it works as intended but switching to frames is not an option for now.
Figma team, please fix MCP or API so that when exporting slices via Claude MCP it includes images as well.

That’s an interesting use of the MCP - I can see why you’d want images included with your slices. Out of curiosity, are you using the figma_use skill? I’ve asked the team about support for images with the MCP, but thought it worth asking to make sure you’re using the skill so Claude can make the most of tools available. If I find out something of note I’ll reply back and let you know.
