I created a project in Figma Make. At first it worked well, but now the AI ignores at least half of my requested changes; some aren’t made at all. I request changes in different ways and receive confirmation that they were applied, yet the UI remains unchanged. I need urgent help: I must present my prototype but can’t finish it because the AI stops responding to my requests or claims, even though it says it did the changes, but it hardly makes any changes anymore.

Are you still experiencing this issue with your Figma Make project?
If so, are you experiencing this issue with the desktop app, in the browser, or both?
As our first troubleshooting steps, if you’re using the desktop app, could you try accepting all pending updates (if any), then clear both your desktop app's and browser's cache to see if there are any improvements?
You can clear the desktop app cache on a Mac in the Help menu under Troubleshooting. If you'd prefer to manually clear your cache, you can:
- Quit the Figma desktop app
- Open Terminal.app and enter the following command:
rm -rf "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma" - Try opening the desktop app again
You can clear the desktop app cache on Windows under the toggle-arrow at the right of the top toolbar under Help > Troubleshooting. If you'd prefer to manually clear your cache, you can:
- Close the Figma desktop app
- Open the Start menu, and paste in this, followed by enter:
%APPDATA%\Figma - In the window that opens, delete the
DesktopandDesktopProfilefolders if they exist - Launch the desktop app again
If that doesn't help, can you check to see if clicking the refresh preview button on the top left of the Figma Make file helps?
Lastly, if you are still having this issue, can you please record and share a quick screen recording demonstrating the issue you are seeing where, after prompting and the actions are performed, the preview doesn't update? Does it happen if you are using the point and edit or just general prompting?
With these details, we can help investigate what may be happening on the back end.
