Figma Make prototype background turns white when embedded into Figma design frame

I set my Figma Make prototype's root container to background: transparent and confirmed it looks transparent in the Make editor. However, when I embed it into a Figma design frame, the background renders as white instead of transparent. Is this a known bug or am I missing something?
