Figma Make is stuck.

The Figma Make chat has gotten so long that I can't do anything anymore. It's running very slowly. No prompts are being entered, and the "thinking" message keeps popping up. How do I open a new chat? When I start a new Make project, I see it running very fast. Why do old projects get stuck?

    At the moment, the best way to start a fresh chat is by creating a new file. That said, I’d like to dig a bit deeper to see if there’s another workaround we can suggest. Would you be open to sharing one of the files where you’ve noticed this slowdown? If so, I can connect you with our technical quality team for further investigation.

    In the meantime, any extra detail you can provide will also help us pinpoint the issue more quickly, such as:

    • What actions you were taking right before the slowdown happened

    • Roughly how many prompts you had submitted

    • The type of prompts (short, long, or very detailed)

    Your input will really help us get to the bottom of this for you.
